Finding the voice for ‘Bullseye’

February 21, 2010

Zero Point Software has a good little read on finding the voice for ‘Bullseye’ and ‘The Vault’.

They wanted the voice of SHODAN from the classic System Shock game series – so we tracked down the original actor and got the voice recorded for the nice chaps at ZPS.

You can check out their post on getting the voice for SARA here.

Winter in the Epic Sound studio

But the wintry conditions are not all bad – for instance, here’s a classic post from Gamasutra on recording snow, by Finnish sound designer Tapio Liukkonen.

This snippet is part of our demo selection, and is from an upcoming production.

Hope you enjoy it, and stop by our demo page for more tracks.

On a different note: We’re still tweaking the layout of this blog a bit, so if anything looks odd/broken momentarily, that’s why – and refreshing will probably (hopefully!) fix it.

But if you spot anything which is permanently broken or could be improved, do let us know.
